Phase 3 efforts are targeted towards additional product refinement and manufacturing scale-up trials to achieve cost and performance targets for the customer’s application.  Steps in Stage 3 Development include:

1. Review and refinement of product flow model.
2. Large scale coating and product manufacturing runs.
3. Product testing and validation to determine if product meets all customer specifications.
4. Initial evaluation of process and product variability for large-scale manufactured products.
5. Identify additional product refinements to improve cost, product, or manufacturing performance.
6. Refined cost estimates for product.
